311 Spencer St

311 Spencer St is a purpose built 39 storey A-grade commercial office building providing approximately 65,500sqm of Net Lettable Area (NLA) and a 4 level basement for 600 cars. A full turn key fitout will also be delivered as part of the development in accordance with the project requirements.
Mikado Group was pivotal in providing Project direction, leading the program to Practical completion. Post practical completion Mikado Group will ensure project close out activities are completed in-line with project contractural requirements.

Level Crossing Removal program – Signalling Delivery

The level crossing removal program includes the removal of 75 dangerous level crossings across the Metro Trains Melboutne (MTM) and V/Line networks.
Mikado Group is engaged on two project alliances to manage the Signalling scope of the projects. This includes Management of Design, Procurement, Installation and Commissioning activities for a new Interlocking, Train Control system and associated signalling requirement.
The engagement required management of a new signalling interlocking and train control system type approval onto the MTM network.

Safer and State Country Crossing Programs - Regional Upgrades.

The Safer and State Country Crossings Programs are upgrading road and pedestrian crossings across the state, this includes the installation of Boom gates and flashing lights at road crossings. The pedestrian upgrades involved full review of the safety of each crossing fitting automatic gates and retrofitting electromagnetic latches, human factors improvements including noise and light assessments.
Mikado Group were engaged on these programs for technical advisory and project delivery management.


Our Leadership Team

Michael Lattouf
Managing Director

Michael has over 15 years’ experience in senior and executive roles in Infrastructure, Railway Signalling and Telecommunication project planning and delivery in both the public and private sectors. He is a Chartered Engineer, Fellow, and EngExec and also holds a business degree majoring in financial management encompassing both technical and commercial expertise.

Michael has been involved in some of Victoria's biggest infrastructure projects including the Regional Rail Link, East West Link, Ballarat Line Upgrade, Regional Rail Revival, and the Level Crossing Removal program in both delivery and planning phases.

Nelson Estrada
Associate Director

Nelson has almost 20 years’ experience in Infrastructure, Rolling Stock and ICT project planning and delivery both in the private and public sectors. He is experienced in end to end delivery of HVHR (High Value High Risk) projects. He is a qualified engineer and an AIPM Certified Practising Project Manager (CPPM) encompassing both technical and commercial expertise.

Past projects Nelson has worked on include Regional Rail Connectivity Program, Regional Rail Revival, Tram AVM, Passenger Information Systems, and Rolling Stock Life Extension Projects.

Chris Blanks
Associate Director

Chris has over 15 years’ experience in Railway Signalling both in the private and public sectors. He is a qualified Signalling Maintenance Technician (SMT) and a qualified lawyer, encompassing both technical and commercial expertise.

Past projects Chris has worked on include Regional Rail Link, Level Crossing Removal Project, Caroline Springs duplications and Richmond to Camberwell Signalling Upgrade project.
